Since its inception, the Foundation for Education SMART has focused its activities in the field of adult education. We focus our activities on seniors. Since 2020, we have been implementing projects financed by the European Union: “Never too late for science” – the Erasmus + Adult Education sector (2021) and solidarity projects, such as: “E-Senior”, “World on a plate” – from the European Solidarity Corps (2021) Activities carried out under both projects are very popular, especially ITC classes, where seniors learn to use a computer, smartphone and navigate in the virtual world. Therefore, as a result of all these activities, the project “Senior open to the world ”- 2022-1-PL01-KA122-ADU-000071920, which mainly aims to activate seniors and enable them to develop internationally.
Through the implementation of the project, we want to:
- activate seniors,
- raise the competences of seniors mainly in the field of ITC,
- increase the competences of our teaching staff in the field of conducting classes with adults
- increase the language competences of both teaching and non-teaching staff
- expand the educational offer for adult learners and direct it to disadvantaged groups and people with fewer opportunities
- acquire experience in the field of applying actions influencing sustainable development in current work
- start building a cooperation network of international institutions operating in the adult education sector -improve the system of promoting the Foundation’s activities
- build a strong organization focused on the adult education sector
