We devoted the fourth day of our mobility to getting closer to Spanish culture and traditions. Until noon we visited places we had not yet discovered. One of the most interesting buildings in Valencia that we had the opportunity to see that day was the Gothic cathedral, the popular La Seu de Valencia – Catedral de Santa Maria. It stands out from other Spanish cathedrals not only because of its beautiful architecture, which combines many later and earlier styles than Gothic. Tourists and believers are also attracted by the mystery of the supposedly true Holy Grail, which is located inside. So we decided to explore its interior, looking for the missing chalice. After visiting another part of the city, we spent a truly Spanish afternoon – resting and celebrating siesta.
Regenerated and rested, we were getting ready for a dose of Spanish atmosphere created by music, singing and, of course, dancing, i.e. flamenco. The mobility participants were extremely happy that day and couldn’t wait to go to Café del Duende in the evening, where we had the opportunity to see a real flamenco show live. Everyone involved in the project admitted that it was an unforgettable night. The flamenco band was phenomenal, and the decor of the place where the show took place added to the atmosphere of the event.
